How to apply for support
We treat every application for support with the same care and personal approach, whether from a large organisation or a smaller one. Each application will go through the process below. We have included some tips towards the bottom of this page to ensure your application stands the best chance of gaining approval.
**************************
We have already received more applications than we are able to provide funding for during the last six months. We have had to take the very hard decision to not accept any more applications for funding, we hope that we can begin to consider further applications again later this year. Thank you for your understanding and we wish you all the best with your fundraising efforts.

STEP 1: RECEIVE
Applications can be sent in at any time of the year and we prefer to receive them by email to: lakehouse.office@gmail.com
STEP 2: REVIEW
Each application will be considered for submission to the Trustee meeting. If the application has not been accepted a response will be sent to the applicant.
STEP 3: DISCUSSIONS
We hold two Trustee meetings per year where each application is considered in more detail and discussed in full. The Trustees will make a decision as to whether the application is granted or not.
STEP 4: RESPONSE
Every application will receive a response with the outcome.

Top Tips for submitting your fundraising application
1. Please note our specific sectors where possible before submitting an application. Applications from organisations outside of these sectors are unlikely to gain funding (and we don’t want to waste your time).
2. Ensure your application is clear and concise in order that it can be dealt with swiftly.
3. If your application is for funding for a specific project, please include as many reporting financials and specific outcomes as possible around the project.
4. Try and include case studies (anonymised where appropriate) highlighting how your organisation helps those in need where possible.
5. Displaying good financial management of incoming funds and outgoing costs is important.
