HELEN PERRY
Helen is the directional force of the charity and reviews all requests for donations personally before getting together with the other trustees, discussing her thoughts about each application and making final decisions.
“I feel passionately that we can make a difference within the LHCF. I personally read every application we receive and have contact with many of our charities. Having spent many years in the professional marketing arena, I gave up work to raise my family. This is my opportunity to give something back in a meaningful, valued and targeted way.”
Alistair Candlish
Alistair has worked in Finance throughout his thirty year career after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant. After spending many years as an investor in Emerging Markets his current role is a Director and Financial Adviser with Carrington Wealth Management.
“I am delighted and honoured to be a Trustee of the LHCF, having known Helen for over twenty years. I am a passionate investor, as is she and I look forward to helping the Charity in supporting the wonderful people who are directly involved in helping others.”
TIM PERRY
Tim worked very closely together with Helen to make sure The Lake House Charitable Foundation became reality and not just a point of discussion.
“With a lifetime’s experience in property and construction, a great deal of the satisfaction that you gain is in the knowledge and experience of being able to provide secure and safe environments for people to live and work in. When Helen and I set out to establish The Lake House Charitable Foundation this was a key goal and objective of the charities we wanted to support. I am delighted to say being involved with the charity is a wholly rewarding experience, but my heart and admiration goes out to all the wonderful and motivational people who are directly involved in each of the charities we support.”
Marcus Platt
Marcus is a Trustee and is Helen’s son. He joined as a trustee in 2017.
“I am hugely proud to have joined the family foundation. Having seen the support that the foundation has provided to so many charities over the years, it is an honour to be a part of the journey of the foundation into the future.”
Sasha Platt
Sasha is Helen’s daughter and joined as a Trustee at the end of 2020.
“It brings me great pleasure to be involved in the foundation and its future endeavours. Having supported and worked with various charities over the years myself, I’m delighted to be a part of something so close to home.”
